This policy explains what happens to your information when you use our website or play our games. Each game keeps your progress on your own device, and we do not hold an account for you. We collect a limited amount of information to keep the game working, to show adverts, and to understand how levels are played, and you can switch parts of that off in Settings. The sections below set out the detail, including how to see your data, correct it, or have it deleted.
Stuxnet Ltd builds and hosts software, and publishes its own games. We are based in Eldoret, Kenya, and we are the data controller for everything described in this policy. Write to hello@stuxnet.ltd or call +254 728 372 0088 with any question about it, including a request to see, correct or delete what we hold.
stuxnet.ltd is a set of static pages. There are no cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels and no third party scripts. Every font, style and image is served from this domain, so loading a page sends nothing to anyone else. Our server keeps ordinary access logs containing the requested address, a timestamp, and the requesting network address. They exist so we can investigate faults and abuse, they are never used to build a profile of you, and we keep them no longer than we need them for that purpose.
Progress, settings and preferences are written to your device's own app storage. This never leaves the device, we cannot read it, and deleting the app removes it.
Our games show advertising supplied by Google AdMob. Google acts as an independent controller for that processing and collects data including device identifiers, approximate location derived from your network address, and how you interacted with an advertisement. Google's own privacy policy explains what it does with that data: policies.google.com/privacy.
If you are in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area or Switzerland, we ask for your consent before advertising is initialised, using Google's consent management platform. You can reopen that choice at any time from Settings, Privacy options inside the game.
We do not ask for permission to track you across other companies' apps and websites, and we do not use the advertising identifier for that purpose.
Where enabled, our games record events about play so we can tell which levels are too hard and which features go unused. An event carries the level number, its difficulty, the mode, how many moves were made, how long the attempt took, the app version, the device platform, and an identifier generated fresh each time the app launches. It carries no name, no email address, no account and no persistent device identifier.
You can switch this off with Settings, Share gameplay stats inside the game. Turning it off stops collection and deletes anything still queued on your device.
Where a game offers a purchase, it is handled entirely by the app store you installed the game from. We receive confirmation that an entitlement exists, and never your payment details.
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Serving the website and keeping it secure | Legitimate interests in operating the service |
| Personalised advertising in the UK, EEA and Switzerland | Your consent, collected in the game and withdrawable at any time |
| Advertising elsewhere | Legitimate interests in funding a free game |
| Gameplay statistics | Your consent, given by leaving the setting switched on |
Our games are made for a general audience. They are not directed at children, they are not listed in a children's category, and we instruct our advertising provider not to treat requests as child directed. Advertising content is limited to the provider's most restrictive rating.
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with anyone beyond the providers named here: Google, for advertising and consent, and the app store operator that distributes the game and handles purchases, which is Apple. Those providers operate internationally, so data may be processed outside your country under the safeguards described in their own policies.
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, object to processing, or withdraw consent. Since we hold no account and no identifier that persists beyond a single app launch, we usually cannot connect any record to a person, which limits what we can act on. Write to hello@stuxnet.ltd and we will explain exactly what we hold and what we can do.
For data held by Google as an independent controller, use the controls in Google's own privacy policy. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Deleting the app removes everything stored on your device, including any queued statistics. To ask about anything already received, write to us.
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how your data is used, the game will say so before the change takes effect.
Write to hello@stuxnet.ltd about anything in this policy, including a request to see, correct or delete what we hold. Say what you are asking for and, if it concerns a game, which one. You do not need an account or a reference number, because we do not issue either.
